About the Indian Canyon neighborhood in Palm Springs
Located in the Southern part of Palm Springs, CA. Indian Canyons neighborhood offers various styles including authentic Mid-Century Modern Homes. Most were built in the late 1950’s to early-mid 1960’s. Spectacular views of the San Jacinto and Santa Rosa Mountains, is the trademark of Indian Canyons.
Opened 1961 and called Canyon Country Club, the name was changed in 2009. This was done to reflect new ownership of the Indian Canyons North 18-Hole Championship Golf course, which surrounds the neighborhood. A second golf course, Indian Canyons South 18-Hole course is located just across Murray Canyon Road. Both pristine public golf courses are challenging for all skill levels from beginners to seasoned pros. Strategically placed bunkers, water hazards and undulating greens make this a local favorite.
Homes are 3 - 5 bedrooms with 2,100 - 5,500 square feet. Some homes are situated on Indian Leased Land that expires in 2068 with an annual payment of $5,000. Others have no Hoa fees in this highly sought after neighborhood.
