The Mesa
About The Mesa Palm Springs neighborhood
The Mesa is one of the most unique residential neighborhoods in Palm Springs with many narrow streets winding their way up the mountainside. Although minutes from downtown and world class restaurants, you can feel that you are living in secluded rural town with the vibe sometimes being more Joshua Tree than Palm Springs.
The Mesa has a really interesting mix of homes with everything from Spanish Colonial to mid century modern butterfly roofs designed by Donald Wexler.
The Mesa is home to the Moorten Botanical Garden and close to many hiking trails.
WHERE IS THE MESA?
The Mesa is found in South Palm Springs at the base of the San Jacinto mountains where Palm Canyon Drive curves to become East Palm Canyon Drive.
Heading south on Palm Canyon Drive, The Mesa is to your right (west). If you were to continue driving south on Palm Canyon past The Mesa, you will reach the hiking trails of the Indian Canyons such as Andreas Canyon, Murray Canyon and Palm Canyon.
